Here’re some novel ways of presenting information over the web.
- MusicPlasma pulls from Amazon’s “related items” database, and renders a hyperbolic tree based on your search term. Just type in the name of your favorite band and see what I mean.
- ObjectGraph’s Dictionary uses what has come to be called Ajax technology to instantly give you a list of definitions as you type.
- NewsMap scrapes Google’s news service, and renders it according to the popularity (i.e. # of appearances) of each story in the press.
