IMAX theater owners across the Southern US, fearing the wrath of outraged fundamentalists, are passing on an award winning documentary which is upfront in its presentation of evolution.

Carol Murray, marketing director of the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History in Texas, said audience members who had watched Volcanoes had commented ‘I really hate it when the theory of evolution is presented as fact’, or ‘I don’t agree with their presentation of human existence.’

In this blogger’s humble opinion, relativism has hit its limits: it is time to stop being tolerant of these knuckleheads. Fundamentalism seems to be causing the majority of the world’s problems right now, which begs the question - how can fundamentalists be dissuaded of their dogma?
