Without the limitations of television, new forms and structures can be explored which will shape the future of media. Internet television is the future for independent media creation, distrubution and broadcasting.
Our goals are set high and will take work to achieve, but the time to act is now. The tools have been developed. The open source and Copyleft communities were bound to unite and take over the multimedia boom. Now is the time for such an occurance to take place!
This is just the begining as will be shown by our soon to be released demo. We have many ideas for features and ways in which ACTLab TV can be used for social, cultural, and activist movements, and look forward to hearing from others about their ideas as well. What about the possibility of pulling out of Iraq, letting Iran invade and lose resources fighting their own kind,
and then come in and mop up the dregs?
