I bought these Phillips headphones from Best Buy because they looked comfortable and had a long cord which would go under my desk at work without constraining me too much. I used them for 3 months (taking them on and off my head perhaps 3-4 times a day), and then they broke. I did not abuse them; I did not throw them around, sit on them, jump on them, roll my chair over them or attempt to do anything to them outside of their normal everyday function. They broke simply because I used them somewhat intensively for 3 months.
Best Buy wouldn’t replace them, since they only have a 30 day money back guarantee. Best Buy are shite. Phillips was useless; I called them twice, and sent three emails; they brushed me off repeatedly. Phillips are shite. So, in summary:
Phillips: SHITE
Phillips Headphones: SHITE
Best Buy: SHITE
Best Buy’s Warranty: SHITE

newflash, big corporate store = big chance of big corporate store fucking you in the ass… order online or buy from a reputable ‘local’ish shop. around here we have mr. stereo and natural sound and whatnot, dont buy anything but retail box computer stuff with rebates on it, or perhaps cameras and the like that have long warranties.
Yeah, we don’t have any good local audio shops…which is why I went to Best Buy in the first place. Never again!
