With the drop ceiling gone, the clutter removed from the main hall, and the wires removed from the ceiling, the scale of the space begins to become impressive. The partially obscured blue & yellow smudge towards the back of the picture is Kerstin’s kayak.
The wall to the right was the first to be painted; every wall had to be patched and sanded over three iterations to the extent you can see to the left of the picture.
